Subject: CT-2016-003 - CarGurus, Inc. and Trader Corporation
Direction to Counsel (from Justice Gascon, Chairperson)
Further to the email request from counsel for CarGurus, Inc. dated September 13, 2016, and the subsequent discussion with counsel for Trader Corporation confirming Trader’s consent to such request, the Tribunal has decided to defer issuing its decision on CarGurus’ leave application in light of the parties’ settlement discussions. The Tribunal thus hereby agrees to hold off releasing its decision until the end of the day on September 30, 2016.
The parties shall update the Tribunal on the status of their settlement discussions on or before September 30, 2016.
The Tribunal wishes to advise both parties that its decision is in the process of being finalized and was to be issued imminently, before the end of this week. As such, in the event that one of the parties wishes to request the release of the decision before September 30, 2016, the Tribunal would be in a position to do so without delay.
