Subject: CT-2016-015 - The Commissioner of Competition v Vancouver Airport Authority
Direction to Counsel (from Mr. Justice Gascon, Chairperson)
FURTHER TO the notice of motion and motion record filed on September 10, 2018 by the respondent, Vancouver Airport Authority (“VAA”), objecting to the admissibility of certain proposed evidence (“Motion”);
AND FURTHER TO the September 13, 2018 correspondence from counsel for the applicant, the Commissioner of Competition (“Commissioner”), regarding the expected dates for the service and filing of the Commissioner’s record and memorandum of fact and law in response to VAA’s Motion;
AND FURTHER TO the Order Amending the Scheduling Order, dated March 21, 2018, which provides that the hearing of motions for summary disposition and/or motions related to the evidence shall take place on September 24, 2018;
THE TRIBUNAL DIRECTS AS FOLLOWS:
- The hearing of VAA’s Motion will be held on September 24, 2018, in the hearing room of the Tribunal located at 610-90 Sparks Street, Ottawa, beginning at 9:30 a.m. Ottawa time, for a maximum duration of half a day.
- The Commissioner is to serve and file his response record by 5:00 p.m. Ottawa time on September 17, 2018.
- The Commissioner is to serve and file his memorandum of fact and law by 5:00 p.m. Ottawa time on September 19, 2018.
