Re: Case Management Conference of September 26, 2022
All parties’ and interveners’ counsel are directed to attend a Case Management Conference from 11:30 AM (Eastern time) to 1:00 PM on Monday, September 26, 2022, to discuss preparations for the hearing in this proceeding and other issues.
Chief Justice Crampton and Justice Little will attend. The Registry will provide videoconference details separately by email.
Counsel are encouraged to prepare a joint agenda for this CMC and to identify format, location and other logistical concerns in relation to the hearing that may need the input or action from the Tribunal, Registry or other counsel. The joint agenda should include the following topics for discussion:
With respect to the hearing commencing on November 7, 2022:
o Location/format for hearing (in person, videoconference)
o Participation and position of the Attorney General of Alberta
o Length of the hearing (including number of fact and expert witnesses)
o Chess Clock time allocation to parties and interveners
Status of Statement of Agreed Facts
Motions scheduled for October 12
Possible mediation in late October (as contemplated in the Scheduling Order)
