Re: Request for a Case Management Conference The parties are requested to attend a Case Management Conference (CMC) with the Tribunal, which is proposed for Friday, November 1, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. Eastern time, by videoconference. If all counsel are not available at that time, please advise the Registry as soon as practicable and the Registry will work with counsel and the Tribunal to find an alternative date and time for a CMC early next week.
The agenda for the CMC is as follows: 1. Possible stay of the application under section 103.1 of the Competition Act, pending a determination of the Court of King’s Bench for Saskatchewan in Bankruptcy and Insolvency concerning whether the applicant has authority to commence the application in light of the order of that court dated November 23, 2023, in KGB-RG-01228 of 2023 and any other relevant circumstances. 2. The Saskatchewan Health Authority’s pending informal motion, dates for delivery of materials in this proceeding and other procedural issues. 3. Any other issues that counsel may identify to the Tribunal in advance of the CMC.
The Tribunal hereby extends the time for delivery of materials under subsection 103.1(6) of the Competition Act to a date to be determined at or following the CMC.
The Tribunal Registry will provide videoconference information separately.
